It inserts a named block into the current drawing
Command
line: INSERT
The Insert Block dialog box will be displayed will be displayed:
Specify the name of a block to be inserted or the name of a file to be inserted as block.
Browse
It displays a standard dialog box for file selection, in which it is possible to select a block or a file to be inserted.
Path
It specifies the path of the block.
Preview
It displays a preview of the block to be inserted.
It specifies the insertion point for the block.
Specify On-screen
It specifies the insertion point of the block using the pointing device.
X
sets the value of the Xcoordinate.
Y
sets the value of the Ycoordinate.
It specifies the scale for the inserted block. If negative values for the X, Y scale factors are specified, a mirror image of a block will be inserted.
Specify On-Screen
It specifies the scale of the block using the pointing device.
X
sets the Xscale factor.
Y
sets the Yscale factor.
Uniform scale
It specifies a single scale value for the coordinates X, Y.A value specified for X is also reflected in the Yvalues.
It specifies the rotation angle for the inserted block in the current UCS.
Specify On-Screen
It specifies the rotation of the block using the pointing device.
Angle
It sets a rotation angle for the inserted block.
It displays information about the block units.
Unit
Specifies the Unit value for the inserted block.
Factor
It displays the unit scale factor, which is calculated according to the Unit value of the block and of the drawing units.
Explodes the block and inserts the individual parts of the block. When Explode is selected, it is possible to specify a uniform scale factor only.
