It is possible to use the Node object snap to draw an object by snapping to the point objects.

It places point objects at the specified interval along the selected object, from the starting point of the object. The measurement of closed polylines starts at their initial vertex, been the first point drawn. The measurement of circles starts at the 0 angle.
The illustration shows how the MEASURE command marks the intervals along a polyline.
