How to unload an unused linetype  

1. Click on the menu Format Linetype
2. In the Linetype Manager dialog window, select a linetype and click on Delete.

   The selected linetype is unloaded. Some linetypes can not be unloaded: BYLAYER, BYBLOCK, CONTINUOUSand all the linetypes that are currently in use.
