Click on the Tools menuOptions....;
the Options dialog box will be displayed. It contains the following tabs:
View:
It is possible:
to choose several colors (clicking on the colored
squares),
to choose the font and the text size for the command
line;
to enable/disable the highlighting of the selected
elements.
Enabling this option will make the element under the cursor (if selectable)
flash.
If multiple elements are under the cursor, they cannot be selected.
to view / hide the cursor's reference lines during
editing (also see View Show
editing Reference Lines)
to view / hide the tooltips near the cursor during editing
(also see View Show
editing Cursor Tooltip);
to choose the standard size of Point objects, if a symbol is not defined;
to choose the height of the default text, when set to 0;
to choose the smallest pixel size for regions requiring
filling or hatching.
This option is used to quicken rendering when there are multiple small
regions;
Choosing mouse cursor and grips:
It is possible:
to choose the pixel size for the cursor's reference cross;
set a value of about 2000 to have a full screen cross;
the line pattern to use for the cursor's reference cross;
to choose the size of the cursor's selection square;
to choose the size of the cursor's snap square;
to choose the size of grips.
For polyline elements: to choose the maximum number of
vertexes to view type 2 grips (line-arc midpoint)
to show / hide the grips index
to choose the color for the various grip types (click on
the colored squares)
Snaps
It is possible:
to choose the pixel size for snap Object symbols
to choose the color for snap Object symbols (click on the
colored squares)
to choose the displaying time (in seconds) for Object
snaps after the cursor has moved from the object
to choose the displaying time (in seconds) for
external Object snaps
An example of external Object snap is the center of a circle, which is not on
the element, often requiring a longer displaying time to be hooked.
to enable / disable multiple symbols for every Object snap
type
to choose color and size for the Polar-Orthogonal and
Smart snap

It is possible:
to choose the maximum number of Undo
to save using a compressed file format.
This will create a smaller size file, but it will take longer to save.
to enable / disable saving to a back-up file and with
which time option.
If enabled, this option will allow to reload the work after a crash by File Crash
recovery menu item
to choose the right-click function of the mouse
to choose to invert the text when mirrored (MIRROR)
Enable the Force vectorial output for printing option
if you always get white pages when Printing. Some printers cannot use the
advanced printing mode of devFoam, neither the driver inform about its right
capabilities. In this case you must select to force vectorial output to
printing.
