"Hot keys"
It
is possible to create a "hot key" combination and attach it to a command to quickly
recall it when required.
This
option is used to quickly recall the most commonly used commands, without having
to open a menu, enter the command or search for it in the toolbars.
Click
on the menu Tools Hot
keys. The
following dialog box will open:

Here is how to assign a "hot key" to a command:
Select the commands group in "Filter commands by type" Find the required command in the list on the left and select it. On the right side of the dialog box enable the required key combination (Ctrl - Alt - Shift). Select from the list on the right the required key.
Not all the possible combinations are available, some being already used by the system. Press Associate
At this point the icon of the hot key will be associated to the command in the list on the left and the hot key will be shown.
On the list on the right, the icon showing the association to a command will be displayed with the hot key, together with the name and description of the associated command. Click on OK.
