How to import and export to DXF, DWG
DevFoam includes a native management of
DXF r12 file.
If you install also the free application ODA
File Converter, devFoam can use it in a silent mode to add the
management of all types of DXF and DWG files.
The first time you open or save a DXF or DWG file, this dialog will appear:
You can also Use the Cad menu File
Setup ODA converter... to start it again.
You can go to the web page where the setup file of the ODA file converter is
available just pressing the blue link.
After you installed the ODA file converter just press the 'Search ODA
converter' and devFoam will find and link it. If the Search operation fails you
can use the 'Browse' button to locate it by hand.
You can also specify the max runtime (in seconds) allowed to ODA file
converter, and select if you want to hide it when running.
When the ODA file converter setup is finished you can forget it.

devCad will drive the ODA file converter all by itself.
When exporting you can also select the release you prefer.
When importing this is not required, as devFoam will manage it.
