How to combine regions (two at the time) by finding intersections  

1. Click on the menu Modify  Regions boolean operations... Intersect
2. Select the two regions to intersect and press  ENTER to end the command
   The command converts the selected regions to a new region defined by their intersection.

How to combine regions by finding intersections  

1. Click on the menu Modify Regions boolean operations... Intersect 1 region with more regions.
2. Select the first region to intersect and press ENTER.
3. Select the other regions to intersect with the first and press ENTER
   The command converts the selected regions to a new region defined by their intersection.
