Do one of the following:
select
a linetype; or
select BYLAYER to
draw new objects with the linetype assigned to the current layer; or
select BYBLOCK to
draw new objects with the current linetype, until they will be grouped in a block.
When this block will be inserted in the drawing, the block object will inherit the
current linetype settings.
