How to scale an object by reference

1. Click on the Modify menu Scale.
2. Select the object to be scaled.
3. Select the base point.
4. Enter  R (Reference).
5. Select the first and the second reference points or enter a value for the reference length.
6. Specify the new length or enter P (Points) and select two points indicating the new length.
