G-code file creation settings for foam Tangential cutting dialog

You can get this dialog box pressing the 'Settings - GCode - Customize Gcode'  link located in the Startup dialog

 If you selected the 4 axis option in 'Settings - GCode' the following dialog will appear:

You can specify here some parameters about G-Code generation for a 4 axis CNC foam cutting machine:

Header

You can specify the header of the generated G-Code.

Footer

You can specify the footer of the generated G-Code.

Apply blocks enumeration N

You can apply an enumeration (Nxxx) to the generated working blocks, setting the initial value and the step.

Speed

You can specify the speed (F) of cutting.

Use relative coordinates

You can switch between relative or absolute coordinates. Absolute coordinates are recommended

Axis names

You can specify the name of the 4 axis

More features and parameters :

• GCode customization.
• Coordinates number
• Start and stop commands for cutting wire warming
• Length of the added path, useful to let the cutting wire to reach the right temperature before touching the foam panel. This path will be vertical and at cutting speed over the origin.
• Specify to insert in the GCode only one F command (cutting speed)
• X e Y offset values, useful if you want move or place higher the foam block. An Y Offset value may be required for hard tapered panels. The emulator will suggest a proper minimal value.
• You can also select to add automatically comments to the GCode file. You can also specify the comment prefix, for example ';' (semicolon) for Mach3 or '/' (slash) for EMC2, or also '(" and ')' (prefix/suffix).
