Using the Startup dialog you can select immediately the right function to begin your work.
You can see below more info on what every function can do:

Click the 'Cut letters and text' link, and the 'Cut a text' dialog will apper. This is the right function if you want to cut some letters o texts using a Window Font
Click the 'Cut Parts' link if you already have a vectorial (Dxf, Dwg, Dc1, Hpgl, Plt) or raster (Gif, Jpeg, Bmp, Png, Tif, Tga, Pcx) file including the drawing/image of the Part. If enabled you will see the 'Filter and optionally scale elements' dialog if you select a vectorial file, or the 'AutoTrace elements' dialog if you select a raster file. Finally you will se the 'Simple cut' dialog where you can create the right cutting path. Using this feature the parts will be cut using the placement specified in the original file, you can just modify their scale and distance. You can also see this page to have more info about the 'Available file formats'.
Click the 'Cut Nested Parts' link if you already have a vectorial (Dxf, Dwg, Dc1, Hpgl, Plt) or raster (Gif, Jpeg, Bmp, Png, Tif, Tga, Pcx) file including the drawing/image of the Part. If enabled you will see the 'Filter and optionally scale elements' dialog if you select a vectorial file, or the 'AutoTrace elements' dialog if you select a raster file. Finally you will se the 'Advanced Cutting Wizard' where you can create the right cutting path. Using this feature the parts will be rearranged (Nested) on one or more foam blocks, you can also modify their number, scale and distance. You can also see this page to have more info about the 'Available file formats'.
Click the 'Cut Along Vector' link if you already have a vectorial (Dxf, Dwg, Dc1, Hpgl, Plt) or raster (Gif, Jpeg, Bmp, Png, Tif, Tga, Pcx) file including the drawing/image of the vector/Path you want to cut. If enabled you will see the 'Filter and optionally scale elements' dialog if you select a vectorial file, or the 'AutoTrace elements' dialog if you select a raster file. Finally you will se the 'Along vector cut' dialog where you can create the right cutting path. Using this feature you can create a cutting path just supplying a vector (for example a Polyline). You can also see this page to have more info about the 'Available file formats'.
Click the 'Cut Laminated Parts' link if you want to cut Laminated Parts supplying just the thickness and length
Click the 'Tangential Cut' link if you own a Cnc machine like this
Click the 'Cut a new Tapered Part' link if you already have the 2 vectorial (Dxf, Dwg, Dc1, Hpgl, Plt) or raster (Gif, Jpeg, Bmp, Png, Tif, Tga, Pcx) files including the drawing/image of the 2 sides of the tapered part you want to create/cut. If enabled you will see the 'Filter and optionally scale elements' dialog if you select a vectorial file, or the 'AutoTrace elements' dialog if you select a raster file. Finally you will se the 'Tapered Part management' dialog where you can create the right cutting path. You can also see this page to have more info about the 'Available file formats'.
Click the 'Cut TwistRot Part' link if you own a Cnc machine with added Rotary axis and you want to cut a TwistRot part.
Click the 'Cut Stl Part' link if you own a Cnc machine with added Rotary axis and you want to cut a Stl part.
Click the 'Cut Sliced Stl Part' link if you own a Cnc machine without added Rotary axis and you want to cut a Stl part by sliced parts.
Click the 'Cut Stacked parts' link if you own a Cnc machine with added Rotary axis and you want to cut a stacked TwistRot and/or Stl parts.
Click the 'Mill Stl parts' link if you own a Cnc machine with added Rotary axis and 3 added linear milling axes, you can get a job like in this video (web connection required)  .
Click the 'Draw and Cut not Tapered parts' link if you want:
  • draw the Parts to cut
  • import the Parts from a DXF, DWG, DAT, PLT, DC1, GIF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIF, TGA, PCX file
  • use a background image and trace the Parts over it
Click the 'Go to Tapered Parts Archive' link if you want to go to the list of your tapered parts.
