A line is the simplest geometric object. The different inserting techniques used for objects with lines, segments, polygons etc. are listed here below.

• Drawing lines
  In a simple line with connected segments, each segment is a separate line object.
• Drawing polylines
  A polyline is a connected sequence of line segments created as a single object. You can create straight line segments, arc segments or a combination of the two.
• Drawing rectangles and polygons
  It is possible to quickly create rectangles and regular polygons . Creating polygons is a simple way to draw equilateral triangles, squares, pentagons, hexagons, and so on.
• Drawing double polylines
  Double polylines are composed of 2 parallel polylines, called elements.
