How to delete islands from a region and convert them to polylines 

1. Click on the menu Draw  Region Delete island.
2. Select the region.
3. If there is only one island, it is automatically deleted; if there are more than one, specify a point inside the island/s to be deleted.
   A message will show the completion of the action.
   If there are other islands, exit using ESC or ENTER or else select a point inside an other island to be deleted. 

The islands are deleted and converted into polylines.
