How to stretch an object

1. Click on the menu Modify Stretch
2. Select the object using the Window selection.

   The Window option must include at least one vertex or endpoint.

3. Do one of the following:
   • Press D + ENTER (Displacement) and specify the amount of stretch in Cartesian coordinates value. Do not include an @ sign as for the normal relative coordinates, because relative coordinates are already expected. 
   • Specify the base point for the stretch and then specify a second point, to determine the distance and direction.

   Any of the objects with at least one vertex or endpoint included within the crossing window will be stretched. Any of the objects that are completely within the crossing window or selected individually, will be moved without stretching
