How to change the length of an object by dragging

1. Click on the menu ModifyLengthen.
2. Enter  DY (Dynamic dragging mode).
3. Select the object to be lengthened.
4. Drag the endpoint which is the nearest to the point of selection and specify a new endpoint.

   The selected object is lengthened or shortened without changing its location or orientation.
