Selecting objects

When selecting objects for editing operations, a wide range of options is available.

• Selecting single objects
  At the Select Objects prompt, it is possible to select one or more objects individually.
• Selecting multiple objects
  At the Select Objects prompt, it is possible to select multiple objects at the same time
• Preventing object selection
  It is possible to prevent the selection and modification of objects on specified layers by locking those layers.
• Filtering selection sets
  It is possible to use object properties or object types to include or exclude objects in a selection set
