Create a Grid cut of multiple instances of selected parts creation Pro version only

This wizard includes 5 pages:

Tapered Parts selection and placement - you can select and place here the Tapered Parts in the foam block
Cutting Path creation - you will create here the cutting path for the 4 axis CNC foam cutting machine
Optional: Create a Grid cut of multiple instances of selected parts - the actual page
Foam block placement and setting - you can place the foam block on the table of the 4 axis CNC foam cutting machine
Cutting file creation - the last panel, where you can create the cutting file

The following dialog will appear:

You can select here if you want to create a grid, using for each cell the Part(s) you already selected.
By default no grid will be created.

If you select to create a grid, you must then define these parameters:

The first thing to do is to set the Foam block dimension, see the 'Setup Foam block dimensions' frame.
You can read there also the minimal dimension required, calculated using the selected parts dimensions and adding the Min. space between the Parts.

Grid settings

You must specify here:

The number of Columns and Rows of the Grid
The space between Columns and Rows
Safe distance from block sides: value. The safe distance from the Foam block sides applied for out of Foam fast movements
Back to Block Roof when finished - if enabled the wire will be moved to Roof height when the cutting jow finished

Preview

You can select here what you want to see in the 2D Preview picture.

Pressing the 'Apply all these settings to the Grid' button, the new values will be applied

When you finished to set the right values press the Next button to go to Foam block placement and setting page

More info about the picture in this dialog:

You can Zoom In/Out using the mouse wheel
Clicking a point inside the dialog you go in 'Distance' mode. When you move the mouse the distance and angle from the clicked point are displayed in the upper/left side. Clicking again a point the Distance mode will exit
Clicking the right mouse button a contextual menu will be displayed, showing some more features.
